SKINCARE – TYPES AND ROUTINES

TYPES AND ROUTINES

The planet earth supports life however, it is vulnerable to attack from some of its natural entities. For instance, scientists have established the fact that the sun radiates UVB; a kind of ultraviolet light from the sun that has a number of harmful effects on humanity if exposed to such light. However, the presence of a layer in the stratosphere called the “ozone layer” has been absorbing the radiation generated by the sun, protecting the earth’s surface at large.

The same way the ozone layer serves as a guard for the safety of the earth’s surface so is our skin to the internal organs of our body and as such it must be well taken care of without compromise to always be effective and efficient in its service to the internal organs.

The Skin

The skin is the largest organ in the human system and it is composed of water, protein, fats, and minerals. The skin, just like the ozone layer does the work of protection on the earth’s surface, it protects the body from all kinds of germs, and regulates the body temperature. The skin contains nerves that help the body feel sensations like hot and cold. The skin is an important part of the human body and hence should be properly cared for.

Skin Care

The 21st century has blessed us with numerous technological innovations that have helped us live with so much ease in life. However, the lack of technical know-how of these inventions or innovations makes things hard for any member of this century.

In essence, it is essential to know the type of skin you have before you can be able to give it the proper care and attention it deserves. Skin type varies from normal skin, dry skin, oily skin, and combination skin. Aqua Water is the best skin care routing for even toned skin for sensitive skin types.

  • Normal Skin

Normal skin is a term that is generally used to refer to well-balanced or structured skin. Normal skin can also be said to be healthy skin which is scientifically referred to as eudermic. Normal skin has fine pores, no blemishes, etc.

  • Dry Skin

Dry skin describes that type of skin that produces less sebum – an oily, waxy substance produced by the sebaceous gland in the human body, and due to this defect, the dry skin lacks the lipids that are essential to keep moisture and build protective walls against external reactions.

  • Oily Skin

Oily skin is quite the opposite of dry skin. For oily skin, sebum is produced much more than needed and as such causes the skin to be oily, this is referred to as seborrhea. Oily skins sometimes possess blemishes, even large and visible pores.

  • Combination Skin

Combination skin is a term used for a type of skin that combines all the features of the aforementioned skin types (oily, normal, and dry skin).

Having been able to identify the group that your skin belongs to, it is then going to be easy to maintain healthy skin for yourself.

FINAL THOUGHT

It is so very evident that the skin houses life to a large extent and therefore you should ensure that a quality skincare product like skin bar to wash the skin, face serum for facial wash are used and do not forget even your eyelashes and your eyebrows too, you could get a serum for them too. Maintaining healthy skin is as important as keeping the nostrils free for breathing functions.
