Crystal Palace replaces betting partner W88 with a multi-year contract with Cinch

May 26 – While Cazoo, an online reseller of used cars, expands its football sponsorship portfolio in Europe, Cinch, a competitor company in the UK, signs on as Crystal Palace’s shirt front sponsor for its first major English Premier League deal.

In addition to being a Scottish Premier League partner and a sleeve sponsor of Tottenham Hotspur, Cinch also has additional UK sports sponsorship assets with England Cricket and rugby union.

With the agreement, Cinch will take the position of online W88 on Crystal Palace’s jersey before the anticipated ban on gambling companies’ shirt sponsorships in English football.

The multi-year agreement will be in effect with the 2022–2023 Premier League season. No compensation for the sponsorship was offered. Approximately £6.5 million was paid to W88 per season.

Cinch will get brand visibility at Selhurst Park stadium, on the club’s digital platforms, and on all replica shirts, in addition to appearing on the front of the men’s and women’s team shirts.

The next campaign will be Crystal Palace’s eleventh straight campaign in the Premier League.
