The story focuses on the journey of Akshara, the family’s obedient, loved, and well-protected daughter. She knows nothing about the world outside of her parents and family in general. But then, she marries Naitik, and a whole new world opens up. Marriage reveals a lot of new relationships, emotions, and feelings, many of which she has never experienced before in her life. Akshara begins working in the family business. Naitik awakens from his coma and struggles to bond with the mischievous Naksh. Gayatri, Naitik’s mother, dies after falling off a cliff, after which his sister Rashmi gives birth to a daughter and names her Gayatri. Naira, Akshara and Naitik’s daughter, is born. Kaveri tries to blame Akshara for Mahendra’s death. Akshara and Naitik are relocating with their children.
They moved to Cape Town. Naksh returns to Udaipur and persuades Kaveri to forgive an unjust Akshara. The family is eventually reunited. Naira grew up in an orphanage in Rishikesh, where she became headstrong but insecure and arrogant. Akshara arrives to help fund the orphanage and meets Naira. Kartik Goenka arrives in Udaipur, forming a love triangle with Gayatri and Naira. Kartik realises his feelings for Naira, while Gayatri has feelings for Kartik. Naira finally accepts Akshara.
Kartik finally confesses his feelings for Naira, who is initially puzzled by her feelings but later admits her feelings for Kartik. Akshara died in a car accident after falling off a cliff.
After Akshara’s death, the story focuses on Naira and Kartik’s lives. Kartik and Naira, initially enemies, soon fall in love and marry with their families’ blessings. Kartik and Naira’s story continues, with various hardships along the way. Finally, the Naira is lost, and Kartik believes she is dead.
Naira decides to move to Goa and gives birth to Kairav. A series of events reunites Naira and Kartik, but Vedika becomes the new villain in their story. Kartik and Naira reunite, and the Goenka family suffers a terrible loss. YRKKH’s story is a typical family story with many twists.
